A Forbidden Past - Chapter 10
Emotions Revealed

Trunks walked downstairs and went into the backroom. With the sword in his hand he went outside to the backyard. He pulled his sword out and started taking practice swings. He took all the anger he had built up inside and released it into his practice. His eyes flashed green and hair shot up into the air and glowed. He screamed with anger as he slashed his sword through a thick, fallen branch with ease. He swung his sword upwards while a trail of energy flowed from his sword. He released his sword into the air, and let it flip around, until it slid back into its sheath on his back. He relaxed as his hair returned to its lavendar colour and his eyes turned blue once again. He panted as he still wanted to release all his anger. He yelled as fired an energy blast high into the sky. He fell to the ground on one knee resting his forehead on his other knee. "What am I going to do? Do I defeat the androids in this time, and then go back and defeat them in my time or do I defeat them in my timeline, and change the future?" Trunks sighed as he kneeled on the ground. He stood up and walked back towards the house. He had quite a work out. He took a quick shower, put on his plaid pants and a white tank top and then went to Stacie's bedroom. He opened the door only a crack to find Stacie in her pajamas, drawing in her sketch book. She obviously didn't notice Trunks, as she was talking to herself.

"Damn, Trunks! You are sexy!" she said as she continued drawing a picture of Trunks, with his hawaiian shirt open, like earlier in the afternoon. Trunks also noticed there were a lot of hearts covering the page. She put her pencil down and slowly traced her finger over the drawing. She brushed her hair away from her face and tucked it behind her left ear. Trunks looked at her face as she looked at her drawing. He could see that Stacie was concentrating intensely on the picture as she continued to trace her finger over the paper. He looked at the picture and noticed small dark circles had formed on the page. He looked back at Stacie who now had tears rolling down her face. "I wish you didn't have to leave me Trunks." She stopped as she wiped the tears away from her face. She clenched the sketch book in her arms and held it against her. "I.... I... think I love you...." she sobbed through the tears. Trunks gasped as he heard the words.

"Love? She loves me?" he thought to himself. No one had ever loved Trunks except his mother. He looked at the distraught girl in a new light. He felt now he was obliged to protect Stacie from the androids. Someone with such strong emotional feelings towards him was someone he had to protect. He failed in protecting Gohan, and was determined to not let Stacie down. Trunks continued to watch Stacie through the partially open door. She put the book back on her shelf and put her pencil down. She then walked over to the window and looked outside. She let out a large sigh as she sat down on the window sill.

"How can I tell him I love him," she said to herself. She looked at her watch to see it was almost midnight. "I guess I should go to bed. After all, I have had a fairly rough day," she said to herself as she made her way into the bed. She walked by the door and saw it was partially open. "Trunks?" she asked at the door. He pushed the door partially open and looked at Stacie. "How.. how long were you standing there?" she asked him.

"Ummmmm..." he wasn't sure if he should tell Stacie that he heard her say she loved him.

"Where did you go earlier?" she asked.

"Oh, I was a little frustrated so I went outside for a bit, then I had a shower. How long did you sleep for?" he asked.

"I guess about 2 hours or so."

"Are you feeling better at all?" Trunks asked as he entered the bedroom, closing the door behind him.

"Actually, a bit better. I really just needed to rest I think," she said as she had already crawled into her bed.

"Where do you want me to sleep tonight?" he asked as he still stood by the door.

"Come on. You should know the answer to that," she said with a smile. She moved over in the bed as Trunks crawled in beside her. "I need someone to protect me incase the androids come by again!" Similar to the night before, Trunks and Stacie both lay on their backs, except this time, it was quiet outside. "Hey Trunks?"

"Yea, Stace?"

"I guess the androids can't be all that bad. They destroyed the highschool!" Stacie said laughing.

Trunks snickered a bit. "Hey? I thought you liked school?" he asked.

"I do! But a time without school, work, and my mom is better!" she said as she continued to giggle. Trunks started to laugh as well as he and Stacie were lying in bed. "Hey Trunks?"

"Yea, Stace?" he said again. Trunks wasn't expecting Stacie to roll over and lock lips with him. Stacie ran her hands through his hair as they kissed. Her hands ran down his chest and rubbed his thigh. Trunks shivered as he had never been touched by someone the way Stacie was touching him. Stacie brought her hands up and slipped them under his tank top. She quickly removed it, exposing Trunks chest to the air. Their lips separated as Stacie smiled at Trunks.

"Roll over onto your stomach!" Stacie said. Trunks rolled over as Stacie straddled on top of his butt. She started giving him a back massage.

"Wow! That feels great!" he said as Stacie's hands rubbed his back.

"My mom's said I've always been good at giving massages."

"Well, they're better than good!" he mumbled as he enjoyed his massage. She kept massaging him for about 5 more minutes when he suddenly rolled over onto his back.

"WHOA!" exclaimed Stacie. "How am I supposed to massage your back now?" she asked.

"Simple. You don't!" Trunks smiled as he put his hands on Stacie's waist. Trunks sat up so he was now face to face with Stacie. He wrapped his arms around her waist as he leaned over and kissed Stacie on the neck and then on her lips. Their lips parted as they stared deep into each other's eyes. Trunks only had to mouth the words, but Stacie knew what he had said, and at that point, she fell onto her pillow. Trunks looked at her and smiled. He put his head back onto his pillow. Stacie put her head onto his chest and wrapped her arms around his side.

"I love you too," were the last words from her mouth before she fell asleep, still lying on Trunks.
