Gohan's Great Saiyaman poses have to be some of the most memorable poses ever see in Dragonball. These poses vary from daring deed to daring deed. My personal favorite is when Gohan swings his arms around while standing on one foot reciting his hero speach. These poses give us a good laugh to keep the story flowing.

Piccolo is a charecter that tries to see how far he can off set people just by beeing there. First of all his stance symbolizes power and strength. Not comprehending anyone he is not focusing on also adds to the pose. A lot of Piccolo's poses are similar to this one. His poses reflect his personality and state of mind.

The side stare. This pose is meant to intimedate enemies. it usually gets the job done. Here in this picture Gohan is staring at Cell and showing that he is stronger. This another of my favorite poses.

This poses obveously shows surprise. This is a key element in the manga. With out it if some one was surprised there would just be a plane face saying "wow". Not much else to say about this poses except that it has to be well placed. I mean if it is in a scean where the charecter just barely understands something instead of being surprised like he was shot it wouldn't fit.

The double super shock is a good way to put it. Also the speed lines add a lot to this pose. Two charecters surprised are twice as good as one surprised charecter. The little explosion thingy next their heads is another way to emphasize the fact that these people are surprised.

|
Yet another surprised pose. This one is different though. It's perspective is from benieth and it is in a diagnaly sliced frame. Also it just looks cool. Another surprised look inhancer are the little lines next to the person's head.

The sad, scared, and confused look. Gohan takes full advantage of this pose here. This pose doesn't show up much because Gohan is really the only one that uses this pose and further more only when he's young. As he gets older he doesn't cry any more. To make some one look even more surprised you make the eyes bigger and the mouth hang down a bit.

This pose works best for less important charecters like the news reporter here. He has had probably the roughest day of his life and is having some sycological problems. The widend thin mouth and raised eyebrows emphasize the "can I go hom eyet" look. The torn clothes and nearly destroyed tie just finishes it all off.

The mighty strength stance. It shows power and fearlessness. Gohan here shows this poses off nicly. He has his eyes smaller and mouth some what frowning. The cuts, brouses, and torn clothes show off his strength as well.

Here is a good example of being scared stiff and not knowing what to do all in one. This pose is well used though out Dragonball everytime some one comes up against a stronger fighter they have this look. Maybe it is a fashion statment of some kind in the Dragonball world.

Ah! one of my favorites. The smirk. This particular facial expression states that the opposer has no chance of winning and the smirker is having way to much fun. Mostly villians use this pose, but Gokou uses a lot also.

|
Another favorite, the Sit. This pose is usually granted to those who have high athority or power. Mostly gods and such. Here Guru is sporting our new line of fall old geiser chairs. It is gumbo sized to seat this humble man and comes in several very attractive colors. Green, Blue, Oran... Well as you can see I get carried away so the chair thing is cool.
