DB Community?
Well all of you webmasters or just DB web suffers out there know that the DB web community has slowed. First of all the the thing that really makes me mad is that a lot of new sites out there make their entire site all about the layout. The first thing that I don't like about this is that these sites take years to load. Next is the total disregard for any content what so ever. These sites just go up and say their content will be coming soon, but all that happens is they get a new layout. Then these sites turn into designs sites. All of this really gives the DB community a bad name. There are some good DB sites out there that have lots of content/originality and deserve to be seen. The next thing that gives the DB community a bad name is all of the stealing. I already wrote and editorial for that so if you want to read it go back. Further more it used to be that there were a lot of small/new comer sites to the community. Sites made on geocities or homestead (witch pretty much cut everybody off there) were the heart of the community. They always had the best ideas, but usually couldn't get the attention their sites needed. A select few of these web sites would go on to become some of the most well known web sites. Now that a lot of these web sites are gone there will be fewer good sites to come along. Also most of the little sites are now stealing all of their content from other sites and layouts as well. I truly commend the few who still have that want for a new, better DB website.
