Now Gokou and Krillin are young adults and back for another tournament. After the preliminaries the real fights begin. Tien and Tao Pie Pie are the first to fight. Tien beats Tao Pie Pie easily because he is so enraged at Tao Pie Pie for killing Chow zu. The next match is Chi Chi vs. Gokou who doesn't recognize Chi Chi after all the time they hadn't spent apart. After Gokou beats her with no effort at all Chi Chi tells Gokou who she is and the promise of marriage Gokou gave her. Gokou agrees and the tournament continues. Krillin and Piccolo fight in the next match and we all know how this one ends up, so piccolo moves on to the next round along with Gokou and Tien. The next match is Shen (Kami in the disguise of a human) vs. Yamcha. Yamcha loses to Shen another tournament (does he ever win?). Now the entrants who made it to the next round prepare. Gokou and Tien face off for a rematch. The fight is even until Gokou turns up the heat and beats Tien easy. Now Shen and Piccolo duke it out. Shen performs the Mafuba attack, but Piccolo reverses it and captures Shen. Shen breaks out though, but loses the fight. Now Gokou and Piccolo get ready for the fight of their lives. The fight starts and continues with shots at each other slowly draining each fighter's strength. Piccolo uses a technique to increase his body size to an enormous size. Just as the fight is about to end with Piccolo as the victor Gokou shoots up and slams into Piccolo's ribs sending him out of the ring. Kami is about to kill Piccolo, but Gokou stops him and gives Piccolo a Senzu bean. Piccolo fly's off to train. Shortly after the tournament Gokou and Chi Chi finally get married. Gokou continues to train and life goes on.
