In Between Vegeta and Ginyu Sagas
After Vegeta is beaten Gohan, Bulma, and Krillin set off to Planet Namek to look for the original Dragonballs. These Dragonballs are said to have more power then the earth Dragonballs. In a rather long ride through the universe Gohan and Krillin train telepathically most of the time and Bulma just makes a mess wandering around the ship in her underwear. Finally Gohan, Bulma, and Krillin make it to Namek.
