In Between Red Ribbon Army and 22nd Budoukia Sagas
After Gokou defeats the Red Ribbon army he tries to collect the Dragonballs to resurrect Upa's father who was killed. To find the last Dragonball Gokou and company must go to a fortuneteller called Baba because the Dragon Radar can't find the last ball. Everybody ends up fighting in a tournament to get the information because they don't have the money to pay for it. Gokou defeats a mysterious fighter who turns out to be his dead Grandfather. After winning the tournament Baba tells Gokou where the ball is. It turns out Pilaf has the final ball and is waiting to kill Gokou. Pilaf looses horribly to Gokou even with his crazy machines. When the balls are gathered Upa's dad is resurrected and everything is good. Master Roshi tells Gokou to travel the world on foot to train for the next Budokai.
