Up Dated Version

It was a dark and stormy night, the wind whistled loud and noisily. There just had been a
war. All of the king�s knights rode back on horses. They had defended their country,
once again in battle. The war was over and they had won, but they had to pay the
price of war. Many were injured even killed.
I was dreaming of being a knight. By the way my name is Alex Vaccure. When there was a knock on our door. It was a knight with blood-covered armour, so I didn�t recognize him. I wanted to know why he was knocking on our door , but I was not going to go down there to ask. I couldn�t hear what he was saying. Then I saw another knight bring one who was injured into the house, (I mean complete strangers , but it was different in that age). The sight from what I saw shocked me. The injuries he had were too horrible to bear. I knew they would have to bring him upstairs because there was only one more bed, it was in my room. I had to go to sleep, but the thought of him sleeping next to me sent shivers down my spine. Some how I got to sleep dreaming about how good a knight I would be.
Riding on a big white horse named Mystic, because he was so quick and quiet,
it seemed as if he was a mysterious mist . Then my dream faded and my eyes opened. I
looked over and then I saw him (DON DON DONN).
The shock made me push myself out of bed. Then I hit the ground and kind of
bounced. I sat there shaking for awhile. Then I heard a voice, but it was not familiar to me. It was laughter. Could it be laughing at me? When I got up to look, to see who was
laughing. I got a big surprise, I look up I saw to big bright eyes looking up at me (don�t you think it would be kind of scare to see, someone when yellow eyes looking back at you) . I fell backwards into a wall. Then I heard the laughing again. I look down it was the knight. I guess he thought it was funny when he scared me. I said �Well I don�t think it was funny�. He said � I am sorry but it was quit funny�. �I guess so� I muttered.
I made it sound like I was sad about something when I said it .I
guess he noticed it and asked �what�s wrong�? �Oh nothing much� I said in that voice
again. �Oh come on, you can tell me� he was telling me. �Well ok I guess it safe�. I have
no family , my parents died when I was only 5". I had an older brother and he looked
after me for awhile, but he was taken from me to be a knight. That�s why I want to be a
knight and follow in my brother�s foot steps�.
