The Making of Gohan Extreme 3000
PART ONE: A Website is Born
As soon as Dragonball Z debuted in New Zealand on April 17 2000 and I first saw Goku and the gang. I knew I wanted a website the problem was I didn't know how to get one. According to my knowledge at the time I thought all websites were made using HTML and costed the world to have. In Mid June 2000 I discovered that using my ISP Xtra I could have a website for free! Later that month I began a website which at first was on really nothing. Gradually it became Chris Info and then after establishing a Dragonball Z focus it became Gohan's Dragonball Z Page. However with only a maximum of three pages and a large amount of restrictions I moved on.
In August 2000 I created Gohans Dragonball Z Page 2000. I'm not sure exactly what date I created this site but due to some stuff I have I am able to determine that the site was up and running as of August 23rd 2000.
At first this site had 14 point font which is about
this size compared to the standard font of 12 point which I have now (to see a page still in 14 point check out the Top Secret section). It also had no background (therefore it was white - unlike the top secret page which had a black background) and a lame logo. Unlike the light green on blue color scheme I have now it started off being light green on light purple but I found it too bright.
On the 15th of September there was a  major change. This sites first background appeared which was a light purple color and the heading colors were changed to waht they are now. At this point there were only eight links on my page that took you to the various DBZ info. They were:
Attack List,
Power Levels, Character Guide, Episode List, Name Translations, DBZ Links, Email Me and DBZ Quotes (which was a link to a page that said DBZ quotes and never anything else). There was also my other site Gohans Gifs which was a site completely on animated gifs. Gohans Gifs eventually became an enter page to those people who left out the underscore in my website adress and the animated gifs were shifted to this site.
