| Ramiel Height: 120 meters (estimated) Weight: 100,000 tons (estimated) Powers: Ramiel is able to constantly hover off the ground. It is able to charge up particles of light and release a powerful particle beam from its exterior. Ramiel possesses an AT-Field strong enough to repel conventional weapons. A drill can protrude out of Ramiel's substructure and extend for miles. History: Ramiel appeared out of no where. It descended into Tokyo-3 and showed no hostile intentions. NERV dispatched Evangelion Unit 1. But once the Eva rose out of the ground, Ramiel unleashed its particle beam and nearly burnt a hole through the Eva's chest. The Evangelion retreated, its pilot suffering severe wounds in the process. Hours passed, as the minds of NERV sought a way to defeat the Angel, who in all probability was a living fortress. Finally, a plan was set into motion. Evangelion Unit 1 was to be dispatched from a distance, and use a positron rifle. It would fire a beam fueled by all the energy in Japan. Evangelion Unit 0 was to shield Unit 1 as he tried to fire. The first shot was unsuccessful. Ramiel covered the area with its particle beam. Unit 0 came to Unit 1's aid, shielding him as he reloaded and fired another positron beam. The beam pierced Ramiel's powerful AT-Field and sent the Angel toppling to the ground. It died shortly after. Fighting Power: ****** Ramiel is an Angel whose AT-Field is stronger than Sachiel's. Unlike the other Angels, the Evas could not move close enough to inflict damage. Ramiel is a flying fortress, able to expel a powerful particle beam that nearly tore a hole through Unit 1's chest. If given enough time, it could vaporize an Evangelion entirely. Even when the Evas attacked from a distance, Ramiel nearly destroyed them. With a strong defense and an even stronger offense, there isn't much to explain. Ramiel is one of the most powerful Angels in the entire Evangelion mythology. It would take great power to rid Ramiel of existence. |
