| Jiger (ak.a. Monster X) Height: 80 meters Weight: 200 tons Powers: Saliva Spears from face, Skeletonizing Ray from between the eyes, flight via jets in her gills, can inject eggs into foes via a stinger in her tail History: Kept imprisoned underground on Wester Island by an ancient statue known as the Devil's Whistle, Jiger was released when the Whistle was removed. Just as she rose, she found herself face to face with Gamera, who had earlier tried to prevent the Whistle's removal. The fight went back and forth, but eventually Jiger fired spears from her face, impaling Gamera's arms and legs. Leaving Gamera behind, Jiger made her way to Japan is search of the Whistle, hellbent on destroying it. After destroying much of Osaka, Jiger faced Gamera again. Though Gamera fared a bit better this time, Jiger was once again triumphant, impregnating the mighty turtle with a larval Jiger. Jiger eventually located the Whistle and tossed it to the bottom of the sea. The baby Jiger was killed by a pair of children, and Gamera faced Jiger yet again. This time, Gamera proved victorious, retrieving the Devil's Whistle and throwing it into Jiger's skull, killing the beast. Years later, Jiger was later seen under the command of the Xanon aliens, and once again was defeated by Gamera, the Devil's Whistle once again pivotal in her defeat. Fighting Power: **** - Jiger is quite a deadly kaiju. Her Skeletonizing Ray can vaporize smaller lifeforms, and her Saliva Spears can pierce through Gamera's flesh. Her greatest power, however, is the ability to sting foes and inject a baby Jiger into them, rendering the victim completely comatose. Her only real weakness is her lack of speed on land, but her powers more than make up for this. Her only true weakness is the sound emitted by the Devil's Whistle, but not every kaiju has their own Devil's Whistle... |
