Guardie

Height: 52 meters

Weight: 48,000 tons

Powers: Teeth, claws, armored hide and a kindred spirit.

History: Millions of years ago, the monster Guardie was the loyal friend of a Titan. It isn't known exactly what they did, but it can be assumed that the two fought against the forces of Evil. When the world was ensnared by darkness, Guardie and the Titan took refuge beneath the ground. The two were turned to stone, just like the other Titans that went dormant. Millions of years later, the two were found beneath the ground by a scientist whose ambitions for power would engulf the Titan's light into Evil. The Titan had become the antithesis of Good, by becoming Evil Tiga.

But in the archeological site, a dog was electrocuted by one of the scientist's traps. Its spirit converted into light and joined the ancient statue of Guardie. The kaiju came back to life and went to try to help the Titan he once knew as friend. Trying desperately to make his friend remember, Guardie's kindred spirit couldn't allow the monster to go all out on Evil Tiga. It was the last thing Guardie ever knew, before Evil Tiga annihilated him without remorse. Guardie's sacrifice was eventually avenged by an enraged Ultraman Tiga.

Fighting Power: ***

Keep in mind, Guardie didn't exactly try to rip Evil Tiga apart. In fact, the monster tried to change the once benevolent Titan. So we truly don't know the full extent of Guardie's fighting ability and even if Guardie had other attributes. But we will have to rate Guardie from what we did see. Assuming Guardie and the once benevolent Evil Tiga fought side-by-side millions of years ago, Guardie's teeth and claws had been designed to tear the flesh off other monsters. In the confrontation against Evil Tiga, Guardie's armored-hide proved itself to be a well-guarded fortress. The monster's memory and loyalty to friends never will leave it. It's unfortunate for Guardie to have been betrayed by his own benevolence, as proven in its fight against Evil Tiga. That is one of Guardie's weaknesses; its loyalty dwarfs common logic. It can't tell when beings are truly lost to the dark side. When up against opponents with strong hide like itself, Guardie's teeth and claws won't always get the job done, leaving it open for assaults. Guardie's armored-hide served him well, but Evil Tiga isn't the only one packing potent projectiles in its arsenal. Such weaknesses and unknowns grant Guardie an average score.
