| Gobunyu (Giga) (a.k.a. Steel Mask) Height: 60 meters Weight: 80,000 tons Powers: Jet-propelled flight, can self-destruct, can function underwater Gobunyu (Vaha)s were mysterious robots that began appearing all over Japan. When one was intercepted by GUTS officers, it was shot with one of their blasters and fell apart. It was then they discovered the Vahas were hollow. Whenever a Vaha fell apart, its remains were taken to GUTS HQ. It was soon discovered that the Vahas were not of this earth, and soon the previously thought demolished Vahas in GUTS HQ came back to life, destroying equipment and attacking the workers. Soon they combined into a single, gigantic Gobunyu (Giga) and began attacking GUTS HQ from outside, in the ocean. Giga was soon challenged by Ultraman Tiga, but the gigantic machine barely even felt Tiga's blows, and ignored the Warrior of Light. Only after morphing to Power Mode did Tiga have enough strength to harm Giga. Activating its self destruct, Giga tried to wipe out Ultraman Tiga and GUTS HQ. Finally, after severing his leg, Ultraman Tiga took hold of Giga and flew high into the sky, causing his self-destruct to harm nothing. Fighting Power: **** Gobunyu (Giga) is quite a powerful robot, not even phased by Ultraman Tiga's blows. Even Ultraman Tiga in Power Mode seemed equal to him. The explosion caused by Giga's self-destruct is quite large, and will most likely wipe out any lesser kaiju caught in the blast. While quite strong, it is unknown how resistant to energy attacks Giga is, as Tiga never once used any of his Luminizers on him. |
