Gazort

Height: 59 meters

Weight: 59,000 tons

Powers: Energy balls from mouth, flight, sharp teeth.

History: A mutated version of a type of creature that lived in the clouds, Gazort eventually emerged from the clouds and began to attack Japan, eating people as it went. It was discovered that Gazort had been stuck in the clouds for so long, and that food there was so scarce, that he began to treat anything as a possible food source, even friends. Unfortunately, Gazort considered Ultraman Tiga a friend, and managed to pierce Tiga's flesh with his fangs. Gazort was eventually destroyed, giving life to countless more cloud creatures.

Fighting Power: ***

A rather child-like kaiju, Gazort is still quite capable of battle. The energy balls his spits out are quite explosive, and he can fly extremely fast. However, he is rather slow on land, and he seems almost reluctant to use his energy balls. While his fangs are sharp enough to pierce Tiga's flesh, his lack of hands is a major handicap. Since Gazort has a con for every pro, he ends up being an average kaiju.
Gazort II

Height: 59 meters

Weight: 59,000 tons

Powers: Able to charge its plasma energy balls faster, plasma balls are more devastating, can fly, presence would shut down electromagnetic machines, immune to conventional weaponry and energy assaults. (Only powerful energy beams could inflict injury.) Possesses the abilities its predecessor had but improved.

History: Mankind had created a satellite that can convert solar power to microwave energy. The energy is sent to Earth and hopes for a better resource of energy is underway. However, the converted solar energy passes through a cloud that is full of Critters and soon a new Gazort is formed. Now powered with high levels of plasma energy, this new Gazort heads to the facility in Tokyo of where all the plasma energy is stored. GUTS estimates that if Gazort succeeds and the facility is destroyed, the city itself would be in ruins. Intervening in Gazort's rampage, conventional weapons are useless; however, Ultraman Tiga is not! The Warrior of Light appears to do battle with the newly mutated Gazort. But unlike last time, this fight is more intense and Ultraman's energy attacks do nothing. Only after capturing one of Gazort's plasma balls and converting it to Light and throwing it right back at Gazort, was the mutation defeated.

Fighting Power: ****

No longer had the annoyance it was when it last fought Ultraman, Gazort now attempts to just get down to business. Its plasma balls are able to charge a lot faster and deliver more damage. With its speed and immunity towards conventional and plasma weaponry, Gazort now earns the reputation of being a feared opponent.
