| Garula Height: 59 meters Weight: 59,000 tons Powers: Orange/red ray from horn, strong carapace, able to burrow very fast, teeth, tail, claws and feet. History: Type C of the Super-Ancient Monster race, which consists of Golza and Melba. Appeared in a metropolis without warning and was tearing the city up. GUTS arrived shortly after but their attacks did absolutely nothing to its thick hide. Ultraman Tiga comes to the rescue and battles Garula with everything he could muster. Garula, however, escapes by burrowing beneath the ground and tunneling away. Later, Garula rises in a forest region and sets the area a blaze. GUTS arrived too late and doused the flames, but not the monster as it got away. In a last ditch effort, Ultraman Tiga appears again to combat the beast in a city and with the help of a psychic, Ultraman Tiga destroys the creature by hitting its only weakness. Fighting Power: **** Being a relative of Golza, Garula's body consists of strong-armor plating. Is able to take damage and still shrug it off as if it was nothing. Garula's ray from the horn would assist the ancient beast in battle and serve him well, as it did against Ultraman. Garula was a cunning and strong opponent, even putting up a good physical fight with Ultraman and thrashing the Warrior of Light around a few times. Despite his physical brawn being no where near the levels of strength of Golza II, the monster is still strong in his own right. What took Garula down in 'Fighting Power' would be its weakness in the neck area. A strong energy attack or even a blade of some kind would be able to impale through that area a lot easier than the rest of its body. This would kill Garula. Such a weakness does cost him the "5" spot. But if he's facing opposition, Garula is an excellent burrower and could tunnel his way to safety. |
