Fibas

Height: 60 meters

Weight: 52,000 tons

Powers: Possessing thick-armor, grappling claws, above average intelligence and able to electronically download the fighting statistics of its foes to know how to beat them.

History: When GUTS team member Yazumi is invited to a town entirely based on playing games, it turned out to be a trap, created by the bio-computer known as E-90 AKA Karen. Karen seeks to revolt against Mankind and overthrow them. When GUTS and Ultraman Tiga attempt to scramble her plans, Karen manifests itself in a giant machine that combats the Warrior of Light. At first, it looked as if Ultraman Tiga would ultimately win, but the mechanical warrior, known as Fibas, was able to electronically download Ultraman Tiga's data. Fibas had learned of Ultraman Tiga's fighting moves and exploited the Warrior of Light's preemptive strikes. But with the help of Yazumi's distraction, Ultraman Tiga managed to catch Fibas off guard and destroy the revolting machine.

Fighting Power: ****

One of the things that increased Fibas' power rating was its ability to predict exactly what its enemies plan to do against it. With Fibas' advanced artificial-mind, the gigantic machine is able to predict the oncoming assaults a lot faster and deter them when needed. But not only does Fibas have that unique ability; but when a foe strikes its body, the armored-plating covering Fibas' body can take a good deal of resistance. Up close, Fibas can deploy its grappling claws to grasp anyone too close. But one of Fibas' flaws is its lack of projectiles. When faced against foes that can fly and are beam happy, predicting their attacks wouldn't be much help. Fibas is fast to stop physical assaults, but projectiles travel a lot faster and Fibas isn't exactly that agile. Fibas' armor can buy it some time, but too much projectiles can instantly remove Fibas' defensive advantage. A powerful enough attack can reduce Fibas to ash.
