| DragonZord Height: 62 meters Weight: 170 tons Powers: DragonZord Missiles from fingers, drilling tail, shield chestplate, can function underwater History: The DragonZord was an ancient battle machine summoned by Rita Repulsa to help the evil Green Ranger, Tommy, destroy the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. When the Green Ranger defected to the side of good, so did the DragonZord. When Rita's Green Candle robbed Tommy of his powers, he gave his Power Coin to Jason, the Red Ranger, allowing him to control the DragonZord in Tommy's absence. Tommy eventually returned and reclaimed the DragonZord. When Lord Zedd arrived, he focused most of his attacks on Tommy, until finally, the Green Ranger was destroyed and the DragonZord retired to the bottom of the sea. Months later, Rita created a clone of Tommy, which became the evil Green Ranger and had full control of the DragonZord. The Power Rangers fought back with the Thunder MegaZord, nearly destroying the DragonZord in the process. But, history repeated itself, and the clone became good and sent the DragonZord back to the sea, where it has remained ever since. Fighting Power: **** - DragonZord is a powerful machine, although he is the strongest underwater. On land, DragonZord is fairly akward in his movement, though he is capable of surprising bursts of speed. His DragonZord Missiles are highly explosive, though they aren't as piercing as (Showa) Mechagodzilla's. DragonZord's tail drill is very powerful, able to cut through nearly any material. Perhaps his greatest flaw is not having a finishing attack like most other Zords do. Because of this, DragonZord is capable of giving any foe a good beating, but is unable to deliver a lethal blow. |
