| Awakened by atomic testing, Godzilla arose from Tokyo Bay and for years terrorized Japan. However, when King Ghidorah appeared, Godzilla had to put aside his hatred for the humans to help Mothra and Rodan defeat this new force. From this point on, Godzilla reluctantly became the defender of the Earth and its people. Finally, the year 1999 came and all the monsters had been confined to the Ogasawara Archipelago. The Kilaaks then took control of the monsters and sent them to destroy the world. In the end, the aliens' control was broken and in an all out battle, Godzilla and the other monsters faced the demonic Ghidorah once and for all. With that, Godzilla and his friends left for their new island home. |
