| One of the first monsters to be discovered, Rodan was hatchedfrom an egg buried deep below the Earth's crust. There was originally two, a male & a female. After bashing Fukuoka, the military caused Mt. Aso to erupt & appeared to have killed the pair under a blanket of molten rock. Seven years later, a huge meteor crashed into the earth & changed the world forever. As it turns out, the male Rodan survived the eruption and was ready to strike once again. However, the fear would be short lived when Rodan joined forces with Godzilla & Mothra to battle the newly revived King Ghidorah. By the time the Kilaaks arrived Ghidorah had already made multiple strikes on the planet. Under the alien control, Rodan wiped out Moscow and later joined Mothra, Manda, & Godzilla in an assault on Tokyo. In the final battle, Rodan started the assault but decided to take off and watch the others finish the battle. |
