Cy Walter's Night Cap
This is one of the few pics of Cy I was able to find online. (can't remember what site, sorry)

One Day my friend Craig Goodale came by with some vinyl he wanted to convert to CD's. Got 'em from his Grandmother and according to him, Cy is his grandmother's cousin. Which, according to the older folks here, makes them 3rd cousins.(Craig and Cy) but don't hold me to that.
I googled Cy Walter (of course) and found more people
looking for info than info, so I decided to put this up for all to see.
  The LP's in question are three 33rpm 10" and a 12"
All of which I promptly recorded with my Audio PC cobbled together from spare parts, and which I now refer to as "The Cyrig"
and using Nero 6 Wave Editor which has some useful filters for such things.
I am a musician but hardly an audiophile or a Jazz Geek. Anyhow I have done what I could.
The Turntable is a Sony PS FL-1 fed through a Sony Legato Linear TA-AX44 amp, EQed flat.
Then on to a Soyo KT333 Dragon Platinum Edition Mobo which Sucks ASS!  wont run my AMD 2200+ at full speed,  I will be lucky if I can finish typing this before it goes down again.
  No problem recording though.

update-the power amp (antec) blew out, so that was likely the cause of the stability issues.
processor is still running slow

Hey! wait a minute!  clean up the spelling or it's ring-a-ding-ding for you bozos!
On to the music!
The Cyrig
Craig shows a Schecter 7-string how it's done!
In a somewhat poetic twist of fate, Craig is prone to Malapropism and massive priapism.
