October is always Missions Month for our church, so we thought we'd keep that tradition with our web site as well.
We have five families from our church that are involved with New Tribe Missions. Four of those families grew up in the church so they are very close. We are called to be fishers of men whether is be in other nations, or right in our own neighborhood.
Consider these things;
- How often do you witness to your immediate neighbors?
- How often do you witness to your co-workers?
- Do you think that living a moral life is witness enough?
- Closer to home, how often do you witness to your own family?
- Do you reframe from that because you don't won't to rock the boat?
Considering these questions, think of the sacrifices our missionaries make when they enter the mission field.......

Mt:5:14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mt:5:15: Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mt:5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
But it has to go beyond that.
We must must make an active attempt to reach the lost with the gospel....
Your task for the month is to evaluate your own witness. Are there changes that should be made? Choose just one area in which you can let your light shine brighter and make a commitment to change that.
Maybe you'll find other area in which to grow.
