FEBRUARY

Brought to you by Within The Ark Ministries....

We all have a special someone that has made our life a little richer. People who have made the path a bit smoother and have added to our character in so many positive ways. It may be a wife, husband, friend, mom or dad, teacher, neighbor, grandma or grandpa. Can you remember a warm moment with that person? Dwell on those things. Remember them often. Take advantage of the Heart-To-Heart Month and let that special one know they are special, not just on Valentine’s Day, but through-out the month. In fact, you may find it so enjoyable, you’ll continue all year round!

Even Co-workers

Jn:13:34: A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.br> Jn:15:12: This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Jn:15:17: These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day. We either love it passionately, or we dread its coming and sigh in relief when it passes... For those who have a special beloved to share their life with, Valentine’s Day can be wonderfully enchanting. Or, if that couple is distant from each other, it can be sadly empty.

Your mission, should you accept it, is to read through our Love Life Series this month and put into practice what you learn. Better still, go out and buy a copy of “Love Life For Every Married Couple,” by Dr. Ed Wheaton. In doing either, remember;

  • God calls us to love unconditionally/Agape love.
  • God calls us to be the super-glue if our relationship is broken.
  • God calls us to be the hero in the relationship at times when the other can not.
  • God calls us to trust Him in all things.
  • God calls us to practice Christian attributes even if our mate is unkind.
  • Women-God has called us to be in subjection {to adapt to} to our husbands.
  • Men-God called us to love our wives as Christ loves his people even when she is unloveable.

But if things are ok
here are some things that can make it fabulous!

  • Leave love notes for your partner to find unexpectedly.
  • Have one night a week that you eat with candles and good china on the table, even if the kids are there.
  • Praise your mate when you are around other people.
  • Never say anything negative to other people about your mate.
  • Be the safe harbor for him or her.
  • Always speak in we, us, our.
  • Learn your partner’s love language.
  • Tell your grandkids what a great looking man/woman their grandpa/grandma is!

Your relationship with each other will be a legacy for generations to come.

And remember, you are loved with an everlasting, holy, perfect love; John 3: 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Have you told God how much you appreciate him? Do your prayers focus on wants and needs and not on how wonderful He is? Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him. Focus on all the good He has done for you. Think of the many times He sustained you through troubled times.... Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him, Praise Him.
