Who I Am! (note: I will skip the years before I was 13, just for brievity) At 13, I must have inquired to my parents about this particular little Second Baptist Church and what went on there, because they gave me premission to go check it out. Perhaps they thought it might do me some good! :D I went and attended a small sunday-school-class (me & two other boys & the volunteer teacher). He was a simple guy and was just reading from the Gospels! But I was seeing it happen. I saw JESUS (He must have thought the time was right to really reveal Himself to me:). I saw Him healing, loving the poor and casting out demons. I felt His Poweful Love. So, at the end of the main service, I walked the aisle (as instructed) and prayed with a deacon to receive JESUS and was baptised a couple weeks later with th two other boys! :D But, the church was not enough to show me about being a disciple. I ended up going with my girl-friends, but it was a far-cry from being intersted in serving HIM, because there was no program that I was made aware of to teach more indeepth discipleship! I guess every dog has his day, as they say. So, I became intetrsted in surfing and eventually, the hippie culture and all it's mind and drug trips. After a while, serious problems began to occurr. A best friend was murdered in a drug-deal. I was busted for other stupid stuff. Actually, i was in jail for various minor things, but eventually was busted for possession of mariuana. Also, during this time, I had a Very Supernatural experience with God. Kind-of-an-out-of-body thing where I saw a Light shining in me. Anyway, to make a long story shorter. I got into the Word and there found out what to do with My Life! The Word in combination with my desperate-state-for-survival, spoke Very Clearly to me. Deny myself and take of my cross Daily and follow HIM! Also, it spoke of a NEW HEAVEN and Earth which shall replace this Old One! If fact the Bible spoke to me of a Love so great that it can solve ALL the Problems of man and women-kind if it would just be put in practice. The Word even has very definite plans for Satan and all his Evil Slims! Anway, THANK YOU JESUS. GOD is JUST and will take care of Everyone according to our Free-Will decisions. Please, open your heart and tell JESUS, "Yes, I believe in You and what you did for me, on the Cross & Ressurrection. Forgive me for my mistakes & fill me with You Loving , Wise Powers, so I can help others be free from evil and live forever with You and Yours. Amen Halelujah!
