Miniskirts, obsesive flirts
Cigarettes and mounting debts
Bad is good, good is bad
The world is now ugly and sad.

Rapers and murderers roam the streets
Children are stolen form under their sheets.
Kind and sweet yet full of deceit
Conceited and proud are the people we meet.

Lost and condemned souls destined to die
No heed given to their desperate cry.
Gay marriages, pregnant teenagers,
Starving children, prostitute women.

Idolitors, hypocryts, slanderers, theives
No one to help even these.
Vanity, pride, egotistic, deceit.
The world exults such qualities.

Arguing, insulting, hurting, vengence
Such things are done without regret.
Honoring ones parents? You must be mad.
When real pleasure is at hand.

Shootings, carbombs, and convict priests
Normal in todays society.
Everyday another suicide.
Terrorists reside worldwide.

People murdering unborn infants
Doctors changing our appearance
Prayer not allowed in school
Noone follows the golden rule.

Compassion, pity, grace, peace
This is what our world needs
Evil wont end till Jesus appears
Condemning the wicked, wiping up tears.

Why won't Christians stand and fight?
Why won't Christians share their light?
Rise up oh Christians and do something
Show you are servants of the only King!

This is my explination for the poem below. I was going through a tough time and this is honostley how I felt. I had been losing the few friends I had when I lost my best friend. Since then I have made plenty more friends and my bestfriend and I, though we are not best friends, are still friends. I admit that this poem shows how I felt but it isn't how I should have felt. God is Sovereign over all things. I  have asked to be forgiven and I have been forgiven. If any of you feel this way I encourage you to turn to God. For how can we accept the good from God and not the hard things in life. He knows what is best.
