Quotes:
A Plea
By Adrianna Wagner

I search through the faces
But no one is there.
Lonliness replaces
The ones that did care.

People look past me
What is it they're wanting?
What is there against me?
There faces are haunting.

I know that Im different
Take time for the ungodly.
What else can I do?
I have no Christian group.

The cool kids ignore me.
The "outer relm" is full.
This is my final plea
Just let me be me.
Hold Fast to dreams/For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird/that cannot fly.
      ~Langston Hughes

It doesn't hurt to be opptomistic. You can always cry later.

Poems:
Encouragement to Christians
By Adrianna Wagner

Love your neighbor as yourself
Love your enemies more.
Love Adonay the most
And don't forget the war.
Some of the Chosen have yet to hear
The Gosple story in their ear.
Every field is waiting still,
Every person needs their fill.
People all around must hear
The Gosple story told.
Jesus' name must be proclaimed
To bring them to the fold.
Persecution will surely come
But that is not to fear.
God has said he'll never leave
Nor forsake His own.
The end of time comes swiftly
Don't delay your task.
Go be a light to all the world
And glorify thy God.

The Mistake
A song
By Adrianna Wagner

She sits down and cries
As he walks away.
He didn't want to hurt her
Didn't know what to say.

He made some bad choices
While he was gone.
But he couldn't change it
   Couldn't change what he'd done.

He really does love her
With all that he's got.
He really does love her
more than he thought.

He tried to tell her
But it wouldn't come out.
He didn't know it
   Now hes figured it out.

He turned back around
And ran to her side.
He said he was sorry
And he started to cry'

She looked at him and smiled
Held him in her arms
And then she forgave him
      For all he had done.
The Lost-A tribute to the troops
By Adrianna Wagner
Out of the woods
And into the field
Marching for days,
They would not yield
Cant stop till they reach the river.
Then they must prepare.
The enemy is across the river.
They must stop him there.
In silence they continue.
The water is iin sight.
Faster then before
On this starry night.
A mistake will cost them their lives
The enemy is close.
Cant run from their companions.
Must stay to might their foes.
Trembling in terror,
Sweat on every brow.
Thinking of their families,
No turning back now.
The general gives the signal.
Th soldiers surge forward,
Giving the battle cry
As the bullets wiz by.
The battle continues.
Men fall to the ground.
Heavy loses
On both sides.
A white flag appears
The battle is done
The enemy is beaten
The battle is won.
The survivors, releaved
The objective, achieved
Thinking of the cost
Grieving fo the lost.

My reason for this one-I had just watched a movie and the underlying theme was forgiveness as shown in the poem.
