Jambo! This is a swahili greeting meaning hello. I have always had a heart for this part of the world. When the Lord called me into the mission ministry. I remember saying to the Lord "I will go any where Lord, even Africa." I knew the Lord would take me there one day. I was praying for this oppertunaty to arise. Only a few days after I retruned to college in the fall of 1999 I learned the mission group I travel with was heading to Kenya, Africa. What a praise! Our trip is during spring break in March 2000. Please pray for the finances needed, the saftey and unity of the team, that the gospel is presented effectivly, and the Lord works in mighty ways before, during, and after our trip. God bless you. UPDATE: My ticket was bought only a few days before we left and my final  money was raised a day before we left. It was all done by the Lord.
Praise the Lord our trip was amazing. His glorious hand was upon us as we traveled and proclaimed His word. Thank you all for your support and prayers. I love you and am praying for you. While we were in this country we saw many astounding sites. The Lords plan prevailed and we saw many people come to know their Jesus as their Saviour.
We visited childrens homes, high schools, and churches sharing the love of Christ. During our travels we crossed the country and saw the beautiful people, many wonderful sunsets, lions, elephants, and other unusual animals. The trip was excetional. To think GOD took me around the world to minister is quite incredible to me.
