Mask: Currently Joey wears a latex modified version of the Japanese Kabuki mask he used to wear. This mask has physical ingravings instead of just paint. Joey used to wear a Japanese kabuki mask that was marked up with black + red paint. He got the idea when one late night on Halloween in the 80s his mom was waiting for him and we he came home trashed , hiding behind the door was his mom in a robe with this Kabuki mask on, he says it scared the fuck out of him. His meaning is: "It's open ended and it's got so many different meanings that you can't just pin point, stereotype or pigeon hole. It could be love, beauty, hate, disgust - it's all that stuff in one!"

About: Joeys Birthname is Nathan Jones Jordison. Hes about 5'4''. He plays drums and guitar also. He is one of the orignal members of Slipknot, and came up with the term Maggot(describing a Slipknot fan). He is also the shortest member of the band. Joey has came up with alot of the riffs for slipknot songs and has also written some of the songs for instance scissors which he also mixed. After one show that was of really shitty quality by slipknot, a pissed off Joey went backstage and was "boucing around the room" which then earned him the nickname of "superball". Joey worked at a record store called "Music Land" and a gas station called "Sinclair's". Joey designed the trademark "tribal S" that is shown as slipknots logo. Joey also drew the main Slipknot logo, and the large "K" and "T" is rumored to have come from the fact that at that time he was a huge KoRn fan. Joey is into a lot of Death Metal and was a huge fan of "Kiss". The other band that he loved was "Black Sabbath". Joey likes to cut the arms and legs off of his coveralls, making it easier to play drums.

Joey got this in 5th grade, he played guitar in some primary school bands. The drum set came to him as a surprise gift from his parents; they had asked him to go into the basement to look for an Elton John tape, Joey found within the basement a fully set up drum kit

His side project was called The Rejects, but the band had to go through some changes and is now called 'The Murderdolls'.
