Stone Sour
This is Corey Taylor's side project featuring Jim Root as lead guitarist.  Stone sour have released a self-titled album featuring hit singles "Get Inside" and "Bother", a track featured on the Spider the movie soundtrack.  Corey is currently stating that he more comfortable performing in this band  than he is in Slipknot.  He comments that he will record one more album for Slipknot and call it quits.

Murderdolls
This is the final product of Joey's side project, The Rejects.  Dizzy Drastik has left the band and there are rumors speculating that Static-X guitarist, Tripp Eisen may leave the band and be replaced with a not yet know guitarist.  The group has already released an album entitled "Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls" featuring the hit single "Dead In Hollywood".

F.O.R.
Slipknot bassist, Paul Gray's side project.  Paul is teaming up with American Head Charge vocalist, Martin Cock, to form a new band currently named "F.O.R.".  American Head Charges' Guitarist/Bassist will also be joining this project.

Mick "7" Thomson and James "4" Root are working on their own solo projects. No other word has been given with regards to the name of the band or what type of musical venture the band is into.

Closure (Now Stone Sour)
A mellow/hard rock solo project by Corey Taylor with appearances by Mick Thomson and Stone Sour band members. As of this time, 16 tracks have already been recorded with Tom Tatman of Living Sacrifice.

Painface
Band formed by ex-Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefini. Disbanded mid-2001 (see On A Pale Horse).

On A Pale Horse
Another band formed by Anders Colsefini shortly after the folding of Painface. This band has yet to release an album but has been playing shows around Iowa for the past few months.

The Rejects
Formed by Joey Jordison earlier this year, "The Rejects" are comprised of ex-Dope guitar player and current Static X guitarist, Tripp Eisen; Dizzy Draztik, a friend of Joey's on vocals; and Joey Jordison as the second guitar player. No word has been given as to who the Bass player and Drummer would be. The band recently disbanded and went on to form their own groups with Dizzy's Bomb Pop Mafia and Tripp/Joey's The Murder Dolls, respectively.

Project-X
A sideproject formed by Slipknot vocalist, Corey Taylor. The project involves Painface and ex-Slipknot vocalist Anders Colsefini, ex-Slipknot producer Sean McMahon, Shawn Crahan, local Des Moines band Heroic Dose, Shawn's drum technician Sa-Tone, and Dizzy Draztik. The band are working on a debut album as of this time and a release date hasn't been set yet. The band has finished recording a track called "Weight" which is scheduled to appear on the album. The song features 8 vocalists mainly: Anders, Corey, Shawn, Gage (his son), Aaron Peltz (Painface manager), Jim Corigliano (Heroic Dose), Sa-Tone and Dizzy Draztik.

DJ Starscream
DJ Sid Wilson's solo project on 1500 Records. He just finished recording a 12" vinyl that contains a collage of sounds created through his turntable. Unfortunately, the release of the album has been put on hold due to the record label's huge debt and are now in the midst of bankruptcy. No word has been given as to when the album will find a release date.

One Cup Fat / The Ornge / To My Surprise
Shawn Crahan's solo project along with his drum tech Sa-Tone, One Minute Silence vocalist Brian Barry, and ex-Slipknot percussionist Brandon (aka. Grouch). The band is currently finishing up an album produced by Rick Rubin, but a release date has not been set as of this time.
