Sorry for the shitty quality in this one, but my camera was eating its batteries and it was an exceptionally bright day out. Anyway, this is my power splitter/fuse block. It splits into one 4 guage line and three 8 guage lines with a seperate fuse for each, so each line has its own fuse south of the power caps and a common fuse north of the power caps. There is also a breaker, but ill show that later.

The block is mounted against a chunk of dowel cut at an angle so it sits right at a 45 degree angle for ease of viewing. it looks pretty damn spiffy at night snugged between my amps the way it is.
Again with the ugly red wire, and those GOD awful monster cable's. A word of advice to any would be installers: Dont EVER EVER EVER use the "entry level" cables from pep boys. they are WAY to pricy for the quality you get. Go to Walmart. The cables are MUCH better and MUCH more reasonably priced, not to mention far more attractive.
I figured this was a good time to show the circuit breaker. its installed just 6 inches from the battery. If you go with one of these, i would suggest pre mounting a board in your engine compartment and THEN mounting the breaker. one of my mounting tab's snapped off because i didnt have it PERFECTLY level and the jerkoff installer i bought it from didnt bother to tell me of this need when i bought it.
