WORLD CURRENCY
"The ten horns you saw are the ten kings who have no yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour
will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their
power and authority to the beast." Revelation 17:12-13
The World Currency is probably the most obvious prophetic things that have occurred lately. The
other things mentioned in the Bible is still ready and waiting to happen. But this is something
that has happened and will happen until the end of the Tribulation.
At the beginning of this year, January 1, 2002, the EU came out with the new currency called
"The Euro". Whoever accepted (or accepts) the Euro will be able to go to any country that has
the Euro and is able to spend the Euro money on anything. Example:
Say I go to France, and I exchange my American money for Euro money, I could then go to Italy and
buy anything I want. No exchanging, no trading, no nothing. I could buy anything I want, whenever
I want. Because both countries have the Euro.
Even though the Euro sounds cool and convenient and easier to manage, it is actually an age old
prophecy coming true. This prophecy was written about 96 AD. The author of who wrote this
prophecy is John. You can find this prophecy in Revelation 17:12-13. Even though these verses are
vague, they make perfect sense.
In the New King James version it says this, "The ten horns which you saw are the ten kings
who have received no Kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the
beast. These are of ONE mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast."
The verse means that they decide the beast (The Antichrist) will rule. The ten kings will decide
to give him their power and authority. With power and authority comes money, because all kings
have that. They must love the beast (The Antichrist) so much they decide to give him everything.
It would be very hard for all of Europe to give their money to him, especially if they all have
their own currencies. If they had ONE currency they would be able to give it all to him. So that
he may control it all.
Not only will he control the currencies, and have all power and authority, he will have one
world government and a one world religion. 10 years ago this would have all seemed impossible.
But since the Euro has been created, that is our proof of what is coming and we might see a
little of how things will take effect in the 7 year tribulation.
Just remember, this is another sign of the times. The Rapture is coming, there's no doubt about
that.
