Terror in America

September 11th is a day that will live in our minds forever, just like Pearl Harbor. And just like Pearl Harbor we weren't expecting it. There is a reason for everything. Pearl Harbor was attacked when America was living in a different time period. A period with Church, Christianity, God, Jesus, morals and where the word divorce was hardly ever mentioned when a marriage was having problems. Sometime in the 20th century everything changed. There was a separation between Church and State; Christianity is something you rarely see in a person anymore; God is not allowed to be mentioned in schools anymore (supposedly He disturbs people). Jesus isn't even given a second thought, neither is what He did for us. And morals are something we never see. Take a good look around on the TV, in movies, magazines, people, etc.

I don't know when all this stuff started happening to our country, but God wants it to stop. He tried to warn us and that's what September 11th was. He was trying to tell America to turn back to him. We did at first, but then we forgot.

God wants us to turn to Him. We need to pray for a nation wide (and worldwide) revival. Even if there aren't going to be more terror attacks, we can still be close to our Father.

Terror Around the World

"They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God."John 16:2

That verse above does sound like Jihad. Islamic people going into towns, stores and buses blowing themselves up, doing it in the name of Allah.

I'm sure everyone has heard about Israel's terror. Their reasons are different from ours. They are God's chosen people, and other people have always been afraid of the Jewish people. In Jeremiah 23:5-8 it speaks of the Jewish people and Israel. The Bible prophesizes that Israel would be given back to the Jewish people and that God would destroy those who try to take it away.

Anyone who opposes Israel should expect the worst, because those are God's people. I pray that America never turns on Israel. You wouldn't believe how many anti-Semitic things are going on in Europe and around the world. We need to praise God that that hasn't happened to us. We also need to stick to being Israel's friend. We're their only friend.

I sure hope America never turns its back on Israel. I know we're afraid of having all the Arab nations angry with us. But I think it's better to have them angry with us, than having God angry with us. Joel 3 is a good chapter that tells about those who oppose Israel.
