"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"John 14:6

Who is Jesus? Your best friend, if you let Him be. He lived and then died for you and me. God sent His only Son to die for us (John 3:16). The Son that He loves, very, very much. But just because he died for you doesn�t automatically mean you go to heaven. You have to do something too. You can only get to heaven one way (John 14:6), and that�s through Jesus. You have to be a Christian.

If that weren�t true, then why did Jesus have to die for us? We aren�t perfect and God knows that and heaven is a place for perfect people. So he sacrificed his Son, so that we could go to heaven. That�s great!

So, what now? Do you want to become a Christian, but you don�t know how? Well, pray this simple prayer below and then you will be a child of God.

"Jesus, I want you to live in my heart and lead my life. I need you to show me how to develope a deep and meaningful relationship with you. I know I have done things that are wrong in your eyes, and I'm sorry. Help me to do the things that bring joy to your heart and help me to stop doing the things that break your heart. Give me your wisdom so I can know what is right and wrong. When I read the Bible, send your Holy Spirit to teach me. Help me to learn to talk with you every day through prayer. I want to be in a living relationship with you; help me to grow more close to you every day. Amen."

Do you need to know why you had to say those certain things to become a Christian? Well, John 14:6 is very blunt. It says no one comes to God except through him (Jesus). Hebrews 10:17 says that God will forget sins. But you know to get forgiveness you need to ask for it of course. 1 John 1:5 say that anyone who believes in the Son of God (Jesus) will have the testimony in their heart. 1 John 5:12 says that he who has Jesus has life (meaning eternal life).

Now if you have just became a Christian, why don�t you tell somebody? It will probably make you feel good. Try to read your Bible daily; it's hard, I know. And now that you said that prayer you can now get into heaven, when you die. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that we are a new creation when we are saved. That means a new beginning, a new life, and a new way of living.

God will give you so much as a Christian. 2 Corinthians 5:1 says, "Now we know that if our earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands."

John 14:1-4 says, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also maybe where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."

Both verses mean that God created heaven for the Christians to go when they die. Jesus said his Father's house has many rooms and Jesus is preparing it for us, so that when we die, everything will be ready.
