Mohammed

Mohammed's full name is "Ab_al-Q_sim Mohammed ibn 'abd All_h ibn 'abd al-Muttalib ibn H_shim". (Boy that's a mouth full!) He was the creator of Islam, of course. He was born around 570 A.D. in Mecca, Arabia. Mecca was the home base of Ka'ba, which was dedicated to several fake gods and goddesses, including Allah. (Allah is supposedly our God Almight, but that's not true. We'll get into that later on.) Mohammed was from a poor family and was also an orphan. Mohammed was a young man when he married a woman who was 15 years older than he was. He had many children. His sons died, but his daughters and the men who they married were big supporters of Mohammed. After his wife died, he married ten more women, even though the Koran says that Islamic people should only have 1 to 4 wives (Sutra 4:3). He said he had a special revelation which told him to go aheard and marry these girls. He had many "special" revelations to justify his lifestyle. Islamic people don't like to parade this around, but one of Mohammed's wives was actually a little girl. He married Aisha when she was 6 years old, I believe, and she was his "favorite" wife.

It has been said that during his caravan travels, he met a Christian monk who said he could have been a prophet. And he created the Koran and Islam from several "revelations" that he had. The Koran was passed by word of mouth until it was written down and completed in 650 A.D.

In 620 A.D. he went on a journey known as the "Nocturnal Journey", which was from Mecca to Jerusalem and then he went through the seven stages of Heaven. He got to pray to Allah, Jesus and Moses and several other prophets from the past. Then Mohammed went on to Heaven where he got to talk to Allah face to face. Mohammed said that he met face to face with Allah (who is supposedly God), but we know that that is not true. No one has seen God, not even Moses himself, until he died. And the last time anyone saw Jesus was when John was writing Revelation. We know these are proven facts. We can prove that John was writing and seeing what was to happen because Revelation is coming true before our very eyes. As for Mohammed's "revelations" they have no proof and no ground to stand.

Back to the story.

After converting people to Islam, he wanted everyone to be converted to Islam. Mohammed began a series of raids against Mecca and finally conquered Mecca in 630 A.D. He destroyed all the images of the gods at the shrine in Ka'ba. After this, he prayed in Ka'ba and it had become the central shrine of Islam itself.

Mohammed moved to Medina and lived there for the rest of his life. A few months before his death in 632 A.D., he went back to Mecca. He died in Medina, in the arms of his "favorite" wife, Aisha.

It is obvious that all his "revelations" have no basis of truth. Anybody can say they have some revelation or other, but that doesn't mean it's true. We know for a fact that Jesus is Lord, because after he had risen from the dead, there were more than 500 witnesses that saw him. Unlike Mohammed, Jesus wasn't lying and he never attacked anybody. He never took over anything and everything he said was true. The Bible is truth and fact and no one can dispute it. Every time someone tries, they are proved wrong. As for the Koran, well, some of those verses are perverted and wrong and none of their prophecies have come true. The Koran promotes evil and doing bad things to people. That is not a peaceful religion. They convert by the sword, while Christians convert by love.
