While we make light of some tragedy in this site with our captions, it is in the belief that it is better to laugh and move on then let all the disaster that surrounds us get to us. The best part of Hurricane Isabel here on the Outer Banks is that no lives were lost despite the incredible devastation to our friends in Kitty Hawk, South Nags Head and Hatteras Village in particular. The Lord has blessed us that only "things" were lost.
Please keep the people in these towns in your prayers as well as all who have lost their homes and livelihoods as a result of Hurricane Isabel. God gives us the strength to go on with our lives and use this as a way to grow stronger in our faith.
