Well the former Sky pundit was sacked on January 25 2005 for his comments on Monday 23rd Januray on the sky sports phone-in show 'You're On Sky Sports', fronted by Rob McCaffery. Following the Asia tsunami disater, Marsh was reffering Newcastle making "A light hearted football joke". Let me make that clear, that's tsunami not Toon Army Rod. Marsh, apologised on the programme and the "joke" was cut from later tranmissions. As from the Wednesday, Marsh's contract was terminated.

Since his determination to slag Rovers off this season and condem us to relegation, I have despised the man. But let's get one thing straight, not just the team, the town in general.
