A Ferrari one-two in the first race points out that Ferrari will again be the team to beat this season. However, I think there will be the odd suprise or two this year. I believe McLaren will be beaten down in to fourth place this year. Renault have been through a massive transition since re-entering the Formula One scene and my bet is that they will finish third this term.
I am also expecting a lot from BAR this term, and believe that they will have quite an impact this season.
Jordan struggled last term and it looks as though it is going to be the same story again this season. What has happened to the Ford Engine? The old Stewart Fords were quite decent machines but since Jaguar have replaced them they have failed to make an impact. The Honda engine that Jordan and BAR fought for is a much more capable piece of kit.
Jenson Button has a lot to prove this season, should he fail to live upto expectations he may only be playing the role of test driver next season, at Minardi if he's lucky.
If Jaguar can put together a good run they also may suprise a few people.
