A Rovers Up-turn At last!
Perhaps its a little premature to jump for joy after a draw with Liverpool - but after the absolute rubbish in previous weeks, this was everything previous games haven't been. Fight, spirit, and a genuine confidence that made the team perform exactly how they should - like a team. After seven minutes I'm willing to bet there wasn't many a Rovers fan who thought "Here we go again" and worried about the possibilty of another drubbing. But fortunatley, it didn't take our boys too long to equalise and loan signing Jay Bothroyd tapped-in a close ranger following hard work down the left from Aussie Brett Emerton. "Yeeeeehhhaaa" I heard us all go!      When we went in front I was really begging to know whether this was actually Blackburn Rovers I was watching. Then when Liverpool equalised, my suspicions were dashed, yep, it's them alright. Entertainment all round just a shame it wasn't three points instead of one.
The good news is that what regular football fans would consider to be an easy run - Norwich, Man City and Birmingham is upon us next, and is our best chance of getting some points on the board and establishing a gap between ourselves and the bottom three. Here's to hoping.
