About Football Managers

1. Brain Kidd - Well, I feel Brain Kidd has been unfairly undermined and as a Blackburn fan I was certainly one of the unhappiest following Rover's relegation. Truth of the matter is Brain is a coach, not a manager. And his coaching skills are second to none, as he is showing as a member of the England national team.

2. Howard Wilkinson - Oh dear. I can't really think of anything good to say about Wilko. He's not Sunderland manager anymore zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..............

3. Kevin Keegan - One of my favourites despite beliveing his team(s) are the best in the country. Keegan's teams do however play football in the right manner - Attack, Attack, Attack! A real true man-managemnt boss. And an all round character. Most will love him for Newcastle's title charge when he said "I'd love it if we beat them"

4. Roy Hodgson - An English manager who has taken on board the Continental style. The former Blackburn, Bristol R, UAE and Udinese coach seems to have little luck with any of the teams he manages.

5. Sir Alex Ferguson - The best of the best. The Scottish managers all seem to have an amount of luck in the English leagues. Sir Alex introduced the squad rotation policy in England, that makes some teams belive that Cup Competitons have been devalued because of this. I'm on this side, I am one who is totally against squad rotation for non-league games.

6. Kenny Dalglish - Kenny was the first Scottish manager to win the top English division with two different teams - Liverpool and Blackburn. Builds his team around spirit and determination.

7. Arsene Wenger - Wenger was the first French manager to win the Premiership Title. Wenger has introduced plenty of foregin talent into the Premiership. The likes of Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry, were bought by the Eccentric Frenchman who is most famed for the "I don't know, I didn't see it" every time an Arsenal player is sent off.

8. George Graham - Is known for building his team arround his defence. However, Graham's teams are not negative and all defence.

9. Sir Bobby Robson - The oldest wisest head in the game. Sir Bobby knows a thing or two about management having been there and done that in just about every scenario you could imagine. A real character of the game. It will be as sad as the day of Old Big 'Ead's retirement when Sir Bob deciedes he has had enough.
