After a harsh result last week, when Talking Heads previously looked to be struggling to SINGLE GOAL VICTORIES, the Bullets were back on form. Unfortunatley for one player he lost his "score in every game" record that the Bullets were all sick of hearing. Thank God that's over then! The Bullets were in the rhythm from the first to the last minute, apart from one small lapse of concentration. But hey, we forgive you A....... um maybe its better if I don't name names. Reports suggested that this would be the end of the form of the Bullets who's season went down the gutter in the second half of last season following some excellent early season form. The charchter they showed was phenomenal and to say they deserved the points is an understatement. Peter must be sat on those sidelines thinking: " I wish I was on that pitch in an ace winning team" - well that'll be Talking Heads then..... However the only thing that he was thinking about was, (you probably guessed it... money). Yes the Bullets now have a money obsessed player, the proof is there that its gone to his head as he said "I savin' a fortune!"
The Bullets kept and passed the ball well, showed some classy touches and generally played well. Millham did have their moments as you might expect but Roddy and the keeper john were always on the same wavelength. The keeper was called in to action three or four times and had the answers to the questions Millham asked from him. For the first goal Ellis collected the ball from a pass down the left wing and smashed the ball in to the bottom right corner. Thats the first time he has had a 100% shots to goals ratio. And probably the last. Crissimo ended his goal drought with a goal best described as "the ball crossed the line" - well cant let him get big headed now can we. The result saw them move into an impressive second place in the league. However, their character will be further tested as they face two tough opponents in the next to weeks in Samba and Livesey.
