| YMCA B 8-1 Mill Hill Pressy 2 Chris 2 Peter 2 Andy 1 Ellis 1 With the early season form of Mill Hill, the Bullets expected a very tough game. Chris was under expected absence following a holiday yet arrived back at five past seven, and by seven twenty was at the YMCA as usual. Well some of us were a little dissappointed! Both goalkeepers were called into action several times throughout the game, and true to his reputation, the Bullets goalkeeper conceded. This followed several attacks, and some of the goalies saves were unbelievable, and the man himself pulled off an astounding triple save, saving the first two point-blank efforts with his hands then after going the wrong way, saving with his feet. Lets go through the goalscorers. PETER OUTSCORED ANDY!!!!! Yes those oh-so famed Hi-Techs are well and trully gone, forgotten, disposed of, cobbed even. The new fantastic gob-smacking adidas have sereved our man well in their short life. The shoes currently will be reciding in the glass cabinet on the mantlepiece, protected by infra-red lasers. All todays goals were of a different gravy, any this can only be described as the most fascinasting game ever, (not for its entertainment purposes) gone are the days were the Bullets let potential victories slip, and now they are a fierce team with hunger and desire. Now are the days were the Bullets have become very ruthless, and make sure the game is out of reach of the opponents, and the way they kill teams off is very Talking Heads like. How rude, I forgot to mention the YMCA debut of Mr. Ramzay, no not the International one, I mean Tony Ramzay, who for a first appearence coped very well with silky touches and assists, has also been touted as a possible permanent fixture for the Arrows. Speaking of huger and desire, I forgot, (and no wonder) that our rock solid centre half Roddy (more than likley still celebrating a Gers trebble) was also absent for the second consecutive game, to be fair, wasn't missed either. Well done lads, keep it up!!! Third place and ever improving. John ?, Peter 9, Andy 8, Pressy 8, Ellis 7, Tony 8, Chris 8. |
