| YMCA B 7-4 CTM Neil 3 Ellis 3 Chris It was the last game before that sodden break, where all the players sit at home, do nothing and dwell on past victories. I remember the ver first game I played in a YMCA shirt, yes...... had thirteen smashed past me and felt like drowning my sorrows. Anyway lets drift away to more interesting matters. Everytime the Bullets take to the pitch, there is an air of expectation, whoops sorry, that could be Chris after his Whopper. Perhaps now he is being outstaged by Neil who's rockets seem to be the latest "Phwoar" factor to the Bullets slick, smooth, Ferrari-Fast football that only Brazil can muster. Our very own duo have made headlines, Peter and John went in direct competiton. John was very modest after being nominated to play for the mighty, unbeaten in league competiton in two seasons (until now) Talking Heads and Peter donned his gloves for Argentina. John claimed he'd done what all others "lived and dreamed of." Again we brought Dave in for some extra attacking force. Not that we needed it, but its always handy! Peter started his first game after coming on a substitute against Argentina and held firm looking very much like his old self. The Boys (No, not with an "H") cant wait to see him at 100% match fitness. We again had mr Gers hard-man (Or should that be mental-man Roddy away for the second game running) Anyway, the slick football was certainly what the doctors ordered and they produced it well and certainly looked magnifico. The way our end of term sheets describe it seems the end of the season has been cut short. What a shambles of a season though with teams entering late, teams pulling out and the like. Anyway if that is the case then it is a very satisfactory 4th place finish for the Bullets who are looking very serious contenders next term.
