| YMCA B 2-6 Argentina Chris Ellis So here we sit merely a week before the summer fortnight's break, in hope of more points to add to the tally and hoping our goalscores can notch a few more for the own personal pride ( I hope Pressy and Chris are reading this!!) Chris and Ellis have been on fire in recent weeks and all those associated with The Bullets were hoping that similar service would resume. Quite a few of the playing staff had used valuble resources in previous games for other sides apart from your usual loyal duo. (Chris and John If you're wondering) Recent additon Neil added that fire that seemed to be at home in the A side in the from of Dan. Neither are bad! In the last meeting between the two sides on the opening day of the season, from a scary 4-0 down it looked like curtains for the Bullets, but they never doubted theirselves, dug in deep and controlled the entire second half of the match. coming nack from the dead managing the fairytale story coming back to win 5-4. Hopefully such a thriller maybe again achievible but, for now, following a painful defeat at Livesey, back The Bullets came to beat them in the second encounter. They deserved that win as much as Burnley deserved relegation last season. Again the bullets slumped to go four goals down, but unfortunatley, despite the encouragement of the man between the sticks, (No not Turner in 'Tina's Goal Im On About our man) the was just no mustering the perfomances that have seen the Bullets acheive lofty heights this season. Unfortunatley Peter made his comeback, nowhere near fully fit. Beggining to look himself more and more as the match went on. Save yourself for the new season Peter!!! Lets ignore the undeniable Tina skill and focus biasedly on The Bullets, as if they were the Manchester United of our league. The first goal saw Preesy run his socks off down the wing and while he looked as though he may shoot, layed one off for Dave, placed a fantastic ball for the star foward, oh, no sorry, Chris got the ball, saw the keeper hit the deck early, the blasted it in to the top corner. Unfortunatley there is no video footage to remind me of Ellis' goal so lets just say it was a good one. Coming up the last fixture of the season CTM.
