That Debate:
FIFA vs ISS/Pro Evo

Ok, now I'm aware many of you are sick to the back teeth of this debate and hearing the same thing over and over - that ISS/Pro Evo is the hands down winner. Where as you have a more realistic feel of football in ISS, the enjoyment factor of Fifa gives me more pleasure.
Graphically, FIFA is by far and away the better of the two, but as we all know, graphics dont nesacarily make a good game. People come out withy the crap that every fifa is tthe same which is obviously not true. Fair enough there was very little change between 96-98, but that was ages ago. How can these people slag Fifa off? If they dont like one they are not going to play the next one are they? Their opinions mean nothing.
Obviouslly, Fifa has the advantage of many Liceneses - official player teams, kits and upto date squads. (ok Curtis and Miller still on Blackburn - point taken. But you can now upload you own squads from the new EA management game Total Club Manager - so I'll be uploading Accy Stanley and Morcambe, and some rather random custom squads so I can get those missing players in.
Fifa has a pretty good soundtrack and fantastic commentary, and is some the best Ive ever heard. You have the commentators actually interacting between each other as well as closely following the play. And (almost) everyone loves Motty.
I am a fan of the great scenario modes which have been part of the Konami games,  a lovely rewarding challenge ever since the first ISS game on the SNES and Mega Drive. Lovely.
Is there a winner? Well, as youve probably guessed by now I'm a Fifa fan and can fully appriciate the improvements theat have been made throughout the series. These seem to become more and more by the year and 2004 is a mile away from that slightly dissapointing 2002. Anyway, after playing a Silicon Dreams game anything seems good. Even Olympic Soccer. Well you're left to draw your own conclusions it's your choice.
