"My first surprise came when my Godiva package arrived in just two days from the Philippines to Bradford, UK. Can anyone beat that for delivery?! Next came the trial part, what were the licorice whitening products going to do that so many other companies claim to do but ultimately don't? Obviously I can't mention any names here but I have tried dozens of products from some of the world's leading super brands and lower brands and results have been varied.

The amazing bit about Godiva is that it worked immediately! I used the soap followed by the toner followed by the cream. My skin tone, although not particularly dark anyway, now seemed brighter than before. By morning, the effects were even more visible, especially after repeating the routine. Five days on and my neck, which I don't use the products on, looks visibly darker and duller than my face. Other people have noticed too without me having to point it out! This is the point where I can judge whether the products have worked or not and start lightening the area missed out -- in this instance my neck! What more can I say? Use it everywhere and see the difference. It's unbelievable.

And, by the way, I don't have any connection with the company and I don't stand to gain from this in any way either. I'm just delighted to have found something that works -- at a sensible price, smells nice and arrives so quick that half the world loves anyway! Oh, and one more thing, I ordered their Green Tea Sunblock Cream SPF25. Let me tell you, it vanishes into your skin, cooling it and leaving a light whitening effect and absolutely no greasiness or shiny film on your skin.

The smaller SPF15 version (I ordered both) is slightly less matte but still vanishes without any shine. My mum tried both -- and she always breaks out -- but not with these! For the life of me, I have never been able to find any sun protection like this and was tired of all the 'shine' all other products left (even though they claim they won't!), which don't help as I have oily skin already! For super matte results, go for the SPF25 version, for just matte, use the smaller SPF15 version. Enjoy!
