A. Dear Sarah,

Licorice whitens the skin by suppressing melanin formation during sun exposure, at the same time, it renews the old layer of pigmented skin by making it whiter and creamier over time. In terms of whitening, Licorice is 30 times better than melawhite and 16 times more effective than hydroquinone without the side effects.

Once you have obtained your desired skin color with the use of Godiva Licorice, you may reduce application to once a day to every other day.

Exposure to the sun's harmful rays is one of the factors that may gradually darken the skin again. To avoid skin darkening, as well as other unfavorable factors brought about by the harmful UV rays of the sun, use a mild sun protector daily, such as Godiva Green Tea Sunblock Cream with SPF 25+ PA+++. Kids and Sunblock
