I have a special concern which is the pigmentation on the upper part of my cheeks on both sides and dark circles and fine lines under the eyes.

Please advise which way I can prevent all the above.

A. Dear Elizabeth,

Dark skin pigmentations are usually caused by exposure to the harmful UV rays of the sun. In some cases, use of skin care products with tretinoin or hydroquinone, and changes in hormonal levels may also lead to skin hyperpigmentation or melasma. To lighten skin discolorations found on your cheeks, apply Godiva Licorice Whitening Cream.

For dark circles under your eyes, you may also use the Licorice Whitening Cream. It has been specially formulated to be fragrance-free so as not to cause irritation on the sensitive areas of our face.

Tretinoin -- the generic name for Retin-A and Renova. It is normally used in the topical treatment of acne and also to treat signs of aging. However, it can make your skin sensitive to sunburn.
