SKIN CARE REMINDER

Cosmetics can cause infections when products become contaminated or are misused. Follow these tips to avoid skin problems caused by make-up:

Discard any makeup that smells rancid or has lost its consistency.

Do not use samples at cosmetic counters. In a survey of makeup counter samples in department stores, more than 5% were infected with fungus and other contaminants.

Throw away eye cosmetics like eyeshadows after 6 months and mascara after 3 months.

Never line the inside of your eyelid with eyeliner as this could damage your eye.
