[3] NOTE: The tradition that JOSEPH, Mary's husband, died soon after Jesus turned twelve is false. According to THE BIBLE, MATTHEW 13:55-56a, he was STILL ALIVE when Jesus visited his old home town of Nazareth the winter of AD 26-27. Notice the present tense of his neighbors' statement: "We've known him since he was a kid; he's the carpenter's [Joseph's] son. We know his mother, Mary. We know his brothers James and Joseph, Simon and Judas. All his sisters live here."
[4] THE BIBLE, MATTHEW 1:20; LUKE 3:23 - "Joseph, son of David, don't hesitate to get married. Mary's pregnancy is Spirit-conceived. God's Holy Spirit has made her pregnant." When Jesus entered public life he was about thirty years old, the son (in public perception) of Joseph.

[25] THE BIBLE, JOHN 20:30-31 - Jesus provided far more God-revealing signs than are written down in this book. These are written down so you will believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and in the act of believing, have real and eternal life in the way he personally revealed it.
