[1]������ THE BIBLE, JOHN 18:15-16 - Simon Peter and another disciple followed Jesus.� That other disciple was known to the Chief Priest, and so he went in with Jesus to the Chief Priest's courtyard.� Peter had to stay outside.� Then the other disciple went out, spoke to the doorkeeper, and got Peter in.� [NOTE:� It was common during this time for an author not to say his own name whenever referring to himself.]
[2]������ THE BIBLE, JOHN 20:19a - Later on that day, the disciples had gathered together, but, fearful of the Jews, had locked all the doors in the house.
[3]������ Aristophanes lived about 400 BC.� The earliest manuscript we have of his writings was penned 1300 years after he lived, and there are only ten ancient copies still existing.� Yet, people do not question Aristophanes or his writings.
On the other hand, full manuscripts of the New Testament still exists that was penned 250 years after Jesus, and thousands of fragments representing the entire New Testament still exist today that were penned the same century Jesus lived.
[4]������ www.securesite.net/ss2ad/past/main96 and main910 - A first-century stone coffin has been discovered in a Jerusalem catacomb bearing the sign of the cross and dedicated "To Jesus...Jesus son of Joseph."� Israeli archaeologist, Prof. Eliezer L. Sukenik, discovered a popular burial cave for first-century Christians in the Jerusalem suburb of Talpiot in the "Valley of the Judgmenent of God."� Within it are dedications, "To Jesus, the Lord," and "Jesus...Ascended."� A stone coffin is mnarked with the sign of the cross and the name "Matthias," the same name as the apostle who took Judas' place (see Acts 1).� A stone coffin found near the tomb of "Simon Barsabas" (Barsabas was a disciple considered for taking Judas' place~- see Acts 1:21 and 15:22), this dedication is inscribed:� "To Jesus, the Lord."� The burial cave where the stone coffin was discovered was sealed no later than the year 42 A.D.

[6]������ THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:1-2 - After this, Jesus appeared again to the disciples, this time at the Tiberias Sea (the Sea of Galilee).� This how he did it:� Simon Peter, Thomas (nicknamed "Twin"), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the brothers Zebedee [James and John], and two other disciples were together.� [NOTE:� The author has speculated that the two unnamed were Andrew and Philip, both close friends, and Andrew being in the fishing business with Peter, James and John.]
[7]������ THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:3a - Simon Peter announced, "I'm going fishing."� The rest of them replied, "We're going with you."�
[8]������ THE BIBLE, MATTHEW 25:31-36 - "When he finally arrives, blazing in beauty and all his angels with him, the Son of Man will take his place on his glorious throne....Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Enter, you who are blessed by my Father....I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit me, I was in prison and you came to me.' "
[9]������ THE BIBLE, JOHN 12:12-13 - The next day the huge crowd that had arrived for the Feast heard that Jesus was entering Jerusalem.� They broke off palm branches and went out to meet him.� they cheered:� "Hosanna!"� "Blessed is he who comes in God's name!" [13]����� THE BIBLE, LUKE 5:3a - He climbed into the boat that was Simon's [Peter's] and asked him to put out a little from the shore.

[15]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:3b - They caught nothing that night.
[16]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:4-5 - When the sun came up, Jesus was standing on the beach, but they didn't recognize him.� Jesus spoke to them:� "Good morning!� Did you catch anything for breakfast?"� They answered, "No."
[17]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:6 - He said, "throw the net off the right side of the boat and see what happens." They did what he said.� All of a sudden there were so many fish in it, they weren't strong enough to pull it in.
[18]����� THE BIBLE, LUKE 5:4-10 - He said to Simon, "Push out into deep water and get your nets out for a catch." [19]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:7a - Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, "It's the Master!"
[20]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:7b - When Simon Peter realized that it was the Master, he threw on some clothes, for he was stripped for work, and dove into the sea.
[21]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:8-10 - The other disciples came in by boat for they weren't far from land, a hundred yards or so, pulling along the net full of fish.� When they got out of the boat, they saw a fire laid, with fish and bread cooking on it.� Jesus said, "Bring some of the fish you've just caught."
[22]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:11 [NIV] - Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore.� It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.� [NOTE:� Some Bible translations indicate that Peter pulled the net ashore with no help; but the Greek word is "aneba" denotes that Peter went up into something first, obviously the boat.]
[23]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:12-13 - Jesus said, "Breakfast is ready."� Not one of the disciples dared ask, "Who are you?"� They knew it was the Master.� Jesus took the bread and gave it to them.� He did the same with the fish.
[24]����� THE BIBLE, LUKE 22:54-62 - Peter followed...."Women, I don't even know him"...."You're one of them."� But Peter denied it:� "Man, I am not"...."Man, I don't know what you're talking about."� At that very moment, the last word hardly off his lips, a rooster crowed.� Just then, the Master turned and looked at Peter....He went out and cried and cried and cried.
[25]����� THE BIBLE, JOHN 21:15-17 - After breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "...do you love me more than these"....Then he asked a second time, "...do you love me"....Then he said it a third time..."do you love me"....Peter was upset.
