| This is just the grand harbor of Caesarea with its huge ampitheater; the rest of the city was just as grand. It should not be confused with another Caesarea in Philippi, the northern border of Palestine. The Caesarea on the Sea was the Political Headquarters of Palestine. Jerusalem was the Religious Headquarters of Palestine. | ||||||||||
