[1]�� To see that Salome was Mary's sister, compare Matthew 27:56 ("the mother of Zebedee's sons"), Mark 15:40 ("Salome"), and John 19:25 ("his mother's sister").� Names of the other women at the cross are always listed the same.
[2]� THE BIBLE, LUKE 1:36 - "And did you know that your cousin Elizabeth conceived a son, old as she is?� Everyone called her barren, and here she is six months pregnant!"
[3]� THE BIBLE, LUKE 1:26-31 - Gabriel...to a virgin engaged to...Joseph, and the virgin's name, Mary...."Mary, you have nothing to fear.� God has a surprise for you:� You will become pregnant and give birth to a son and call his name Jesus"

[11]� THE BIBLE, MATTHEW 4:21a - A short distance down the beach they came upon another pair of brothers, James and John, Zebadee's sons.� These two were sitting in a boat with their father.
[12]�� Mark 1:20 indicates their fishing business became successful enough to have a hired crew.

[19]� THE BIBLE, LUKE 5:4-11 - ...."Master, we've been fishing hard all night and haven't caught even a minnow.� But if you say so, I'll let out the nets."� It was no sooner said than done - a huge haul of fish, straining the nets past capacity....awe overwhelmed Simon and everyone with him.� It was the same with James and John, Zebedee's sons, coworkers with Simon...."From now on you'll be fishing for men and women."� They pulled their boats up on the beach, left them, nets and all, and followed him.
